Navajo Lake State Park Colorado

Navajo Lake is located in the Four Corners Area of northern New Mexico and southern Colorado. It is located about 34 miles south of Pagosa Springs, Colorado. The New Mexico portion of the lake is also a state park called Navajo Lake State Park.

This 15,000+ surface acre lake boasts numerous boating, fishing and recreational opportunities such as waterskiing and jetskiing. Navajo Lake State Park has an excellent Marina and three Campgrounds.   • Boat Slip Rentals: $20 per day or $8 per linear ft. per month ($160 per month mininum)
  • Mooring Buoy Rentals: $20 per day or $5.50 per linear ft. per month ($110 per month mininum)
  • Boat Rentals: None in Colorado
  • Dry Storage Fees: $25, $30, $50 monthly, depending on length of boat.

Navajo Lake State Park Campgrounds

The state park contains over 100 sites with showers and flush toilets. The Carracas and Rosa Campgrounds accommodate RV's up to 55 feet in length. All three campgrounds are open and reservable year-round.
Carracas Campground:
41 RV sites with electric hook-ups and shower building

Rosa Campground:
39 RV sites with electric, water and sewer hook-ups
8 tent sites

Tiffany Campground:
25 RV sites (most will fit RV's upto 40 feet in length)
6 tent sites
3 cabins

Primitive Campsites:
19 sites at Windsurf Beach and Arboles Point.

Navajo Lake State Park Trails

The park has several short trails in which mountain bikes are permitted. Horseback riding is permitted only along the Piedra and San Juan Rivers off Country Road 500.
