Pagosa Springs is a small mountain town near the South San Juan Mountains not far from the New Mexico border. The town is located on a large natural hot spring that some consider has healing properties. This off-the-beaten path community has scenic attractions such as Chimney Rock Archaeological Area, Wolf Creek ski resort, and Navajo Lake State Park nearby.
Surprisingly, Pagosa Springs has some classy amenities for a town its size. Several private local spas offer pools that harbor the hot spring water. Pagosa Springs also has a 27 hole championship golf course with the scenery included. Activities include skiing, fly fishing, snowmobiling, hiking, horseback riding, and much more. Why not make Pagosa Springs part of your Colorado Four Corners vacation? |
